Welcome to Aquinnah
Aquinnah is the westernmost outpost of Martha’s Vineyard. With well-known attractions such as the Gay Head light and cliffs, gorgeous beaches like Philbin and Dogfish Bar, and a relaxed, natural feel, Aquinnah remains a relatively remote area of the island, that is typically uncrowded and pristine. With rugged terrain and homes dotting hilltops and slopes, many properties in Aquinnah enjoy the ocean or sound views, as well as close proximity to waterfront recreation. Moshup Trail is known for its mostly privately held beaches, which are quite sandy can offer excellent surf conditions. The town is the native home of the Wampanoag tribe and is the part of the island where Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis and her descendants have their family compound.
